Visit popular attractions including Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Dainthlen Falls, Eco Park, Mawsmai Cave, Elephant Falls, and Shillong Peak (subject to accessibility and local conditions).
Leaving Meghalaya behind, travel through Assam towards Tezpur before entering the Eastern Himalayas of Arunachal Pradesh. The journey continues across the magnificent Sela Pass, one of India’s highest motorable mountain passes, before arriving in the historic town of Tawang. Along the route, stop at the Jaswant Garh War Memorial and the beautiful Nuranang Falls. Travelers may also choose to visit Bumla Pass, subject to army permits, weather, and road conditions.
In Tawang, visit the iconic Tawang Monastery, the largest monastery in India and one of the most significant Buddhist monasteries in the world. Explore the peaceful Gyangong Ani Gompa and pay tribute at the Tawang War Memorial, dedicated to the soldiers of the 1962 Indo-China War.
Descending from the high Himalayas, continue to Bomdila, known for its peaceful monastery, mountain viewpoints, and seasonal apple orchards before entering the wildlife-rich plains of Assam.
The adventure concludes with an exciting Jeep Safari in Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its population of the endangered One-Horned Rhinoceros.
